For the Love of Monster Trucks

Well yes. The family is taking a mini-vacation trip tomorrow. Where are we going you may ask?

Well to the Digger Dungeon of course! In Poplar Branch, NC we shall see the home of Monster Truck Grave Digger at the Digger Dungeon. It will be a 4 hour trip.

After we peruse the Digger Shop, we will head north to Hampton, VA and go to the Monster Jam that night! My son will be totally thrilled.

I saw the Imagination Movers in concert last night and I think I might have had more fun than my son... and He had a blast.

Let's just say that Daddy and Mommy were very entertained and the Movers are an Excellent live band.

Well Phin's soccer coach will be out this Saturday and he wants me to fill in as coach for the team. While it shouldn't be too hard to do..

I'm kinda nervous. Not that it matters about the game at all.. but telling which kids comes in and goes out is kinda tough. Oh well, I'm sure everything will be fine. 0_o

Did you know it was Flu season?

I know you have been bombarded with Swine Flu news. Well guess what...

My son has the Flu. But as far as we know, it is NOT the Swine Flu. He is so sick though.

Regardless the Seasonal Flu season is HERE. Normally seasonal flu season is in January-April. And this is September.

I think this really is going to be an awful flu season. I almost died last year from incompetent doctors not diagnosing me with Pneumonia.. and not even considering it to be the flu either. I just hope the medical community gets their act together.

so I go over and look and they have a note to me on the front page of their website...

I bought my wife a netbook

It's the end of the world. I bought Heather a new Acer Aspire One 11.6" netbook. She nor I have never really used laptops. In fact we both had our own accounts on my Mac.

We now she has her own PC and she's getting used to it, but hopelessly addicted and she has only had the red devil for a day. I had to go all the way to the other side of raleigh to get her one in RED. .. and I bought the last one. These things are popular.

I ve heard great and awful things about netbooks.. but I think if Heather just plays with it for Internet browsing and flash games, I think she won't have a problem.

I myself am a little envious as the little netbook with a big screen is quite sexy.

Hockey season is coming

It won't be long now... I think the Hurricanes play their first pre-season game next Friday Sept 11th..

I have really been having a hard time finding things to watch on TV. Psych and The Cleaner are the only two shows I'm currently watching, so I really am ready for some more hockey!

So Phin had soccer practice on Saturday and he is pretty darn good controlling the ball with his dribbling and running. I'm excited to see how he does in an actual game!

We practice until September and our first game is Sept 12th!

Yes its time for me to go on my yearly trip down to Myrtle beach to work.. but I will be taking tomorrow off to hang at the beach with my family. It will be fun.
