5 pm yesterday- Heather gets home and I'm feeding Phin dinner.  We gotta run out the door by 5:30 pm to get to the Hockey Arena.

What a Fun night! After Phin went off with babysitter Brandee, Heather and I made it to the stadium with little traffic. I forgot that most people were on holiday.  Well Last night's game was a celebration of Rod Brind'AMour's 1000 pt in the NHL. It was truly awesome.

He was presented with a GOLD hockey stick. Sold GOLD. 2 Tiffany crystals, a trip to the Bahamas with his family, and 2 portraits of his carreer spanning from the Flyers to the Hurricanes.  It was pretty special.

EACH ticket holder received a REAL HOCKEY PUCK with Brind'AMour on it too!  So we have 2 of them!! Someone inside of me is screaming EBAY THAT BITCH! But no.. its too cool, so I'll keep it. For now!

The game was awesome too. We played the Anaheim ducks, the #1 team in the nation and we kicked their ASS!  Woo!


What a fun time!  

My throat wasn't feeling great last night and after screaming my lungs out.  I"m pretty much sick as a dog this morning.. but I"m still happy!!!
