Well I havent bought much music this year due to my broked-ness..  but as the year is coming to an end, most sites are posting their top 10 albums of 2006.

Metacritic shows lists of major music magazines and review sites


So as you can see in the provided link, what many reviewers think of 2006.  Rather than voice my opinion, I'll tell you what I would like to BUY after reading these lists:

1) TV on the Radio- Return to Cookie Mountain
2) Lady Sovereign-  Public Warning
3) Mastadon- Blood Mountain
4) Boris- Pink
5) My Chemical Romance- The Black Parade (I think I'm getting this for Christmas)


So these CDs have been on my Radar for a while.. just hadn't had the cash to buy them. Now that they have made many many top 10 lists... I shall try my best to acquire them.

Also I must give props to Silversun Pickups- Carnavas CD making MANY top 10 lists of the year!! Hells Yeah! Its one of the few CDs that I bought this year and they ROCK!
