Air Gear is a guilty pleasure of mine.

I'm only watching the dubbed versions on Anime Network on Demand but damn if this show isnt solid entertainment.

Episode 12 was the heated air gear battle between Ikki's new team and another lower level "F" team the Sabel Tigers. Its Ikki's team's first real battle under the tournament guidelines and if he loses, the team loses all their gear.

This episode highlights-Ringo Noyamano as Crossaint Mask. This masked bathingsuit rider helps Ikki to win their first match.

Fun Fun Fun!

Its a shame they only show new episodes every 2-4 weeks. This is a great series.

Shows I watched this Weekend:

Saturday Night's Bleach- Keeps getting better. Kukaku Shiba is one of the coolest characters in the world. And I'm not just fascinated with her boobs either.

My friend has let me borrow Baki the Grappler- I watched episode 5 and 6 yesterday. This show is brutal and awesome. The fact Dir En Grey does the opening song makes this series even better.

On Anime on Demand-
Watched Boys Be Episode 6. I don't know why I like this show so much. The dubbing isn't great but I like silly love shows I guess?

Divergence Eve Episode 2- Wow! This show still sucks but this episode is better than episode 1 because of the blatant nudity.

Air Gear Episode 2- I love this show! It reminds me of Airborne (one of the best in-line skating movies ever made!)

While it saddens me that I don't buy anime series anymore (because it was expensive), I am happy that due to its popularity now, I can watch it on Television when I want to.

Oh my eyes! They Burn!

Wow. The first episode of Divergence Eve is absolutely vile. I really hate when anime and really bad CGI mix and this show has put them together in one nice shitbox. 

The dialogue is complex jibberish so it doesnt matter if the anime is dubbed or subbed. A lot of scientific outer space jargon is used to basically say there is a monster out there.. we need some giant boobie bitches to fight them.

Note: I don't condone the use of the word "bitches" but it is very alliterative, so I'm making an exception.

I'm also not playing down the fact that this show has women with enormous racks. These are watermellon sized breastesesses. Not remotely arousing.  The character art is awkward, because of the misproportioned bodies.

From what I've read, this show gets better after the first four episodes.. but god how would anyone expect to sit through another episode?  Well that answer is of course nudity.

While I didn't see anything remotely naked in the first episode, I've heard that the following episodes have more fan service than the ceiling fan department of Home Depot. 

Would that make me want to watch episode 2 then?

Probably.

I had some shows saved on the DVR that I hadnt had a chance to watch last week.

Heather decided to take Phin to the neighbors' house last night, so that gave me a good hour to watch some TV.

I was able to watch 1 episode of Afro Samurai and 1 and 1/2 episodes of Naruto. (I should be able to finish the last ep of Naruto at lunch today).

Afro Samurai is surprisingly good. Its pretty much all action and no story, but that's ok. The animation is superb and for a TVMA rating they get to say "Shit" a lot on Spike TV. And you can see naked "butts" too.

Video Games
Ok.. Getting the Nintendo DS was great. I really enjoy it and can't wait to get more games!

Heather bought me Brain Age and Mario Vs Donkey Kong II. Both games are really fun.. games with the stylus are definately awesome.

I'm hoping to have money in November to purchase Final Fantasy III (which is one of the main reasons I got the Nintendo DS).

If I haven't said so already, Friday at Lunch I was at home and I beat Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts II. I couldn't believe it! It was so awesome! I admit I had to watch a couple of youtube videos on how to beat him, but I did it myself (with a whole lot of heal potions).

Anime
Now I know some people hated dubbed anime. I personally think some of it is pretty good. I personally enjoy Naruto and Bleach on the anime network. Both dubs are really good, BELIEVE IT!

I also watched Comic Party Revolution Episode 2 on the anime network. This is easily the WORST DUB I've ever heard. The show sucks bad too. Stay away from this show!
